Funeral services for the late Mrs. F. Osmond Ainsworth were held Wednesday afternoon at the home in Wurtsboro. There was a large attendance of friends and neighbors, and a number were present from out of town. The house was crowded to the doors. Assemblyman J. Maxwell Knapp, and Sheriff and Mrs. Fletcher E. Rhodes were present.

There was a profusion of floral tributes one of which was from the town board. Mrs. Ainsworth's husband is a member of the board; Sheriff and Mrs. Rhodes also sent a fine floral piece, as did many other friends.

Rev. Sheldon Vandeberg, pastor of the Reformed church at Wurtsboro and Bloomingburg, conducted the services, and preached an excellent sermon, in which he paid high tribute to Mrs. Ainsworth.

The pallbearers were Supervisor Edson D. Knapp, Harold M. Stanton, George F. Harding, Lyman H. Holmes, A. D. Ernst and Charles Terwilliger.

Burial was in Sylvan cemetery.
