"VERY REV. DEAN CROWLEY (sic)
Very Rev. Dean M.E. Crowley, parish priest of St. Peter's in Chains church at Trenton, passed away at the Hotel Dieu Hospital on Sunday afternoon about three o'clock. Father Crowley had been ill for some time. He was former parish priest at Brewer's Mills and was known and beloved throughout the entire countryside where he ministered for some years.

A short time ago he was appointed to Trenton but had been in ill-health a great part of the time. The remains were taken to Trenton this afternoon and the funeral will be held on Wednesday morning at nine-thirty o'clock (standard time) at his parish church, after which the remains will be taken to Brewer's Mills where internment will take place."

Mother was Mary Murphy, Crawley, Carroll, McCann, Toal. Born 1851-1853 County Armagh, Ireland, still alive on the Irish Census of 1911 in County Louth.
