FUNERAL SERVICES HELD MONDAY FOR CLARA ACHMAN
Funeral services for Clara Achmann, 71, were held Monday at 10:00 a.m. from St. Benedict's Church in Avon with burial in Assumption Cemetery. Rev. Lawrence Schmidt, OSB, officiated.
Pallbearers were Ed, Lawrence and Nick Raden, Wilfred Kometz, Daniel and Dennis Steininger.
An honorary escort was provided by the Christian Mothers.
Mrs. Achmann died at Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Home, Albany, Minnesota Friday. She was born here September 2, 1893. Her husband preceded her in death October 20, 1948.
She is survived by her children: John, Theodore and Ralph, Avon. There are five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Katherine Wetle and Mrs. Sylvester Wetle, Chicago, Illinois; Henry and John Raden, Minneapolis; Mrs. Joseph Heinen, Mrs. Joseph Klein, Mrs. Margaret Kometz, Mrs. Sylvester Steininger, St. Cloud; Nick and Aloysius Raden, Avon.
She was a member of the Christian Mothers and Mission Circle of Avon.
Clara was born September 2, 1893 in Avon, Minnesota to parents Theodore Raden and Rosania Maehren. Her husband Adam Achmann had died. She was a resident of Avon MN. She died August 20, 1965 at Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany, Stearns County, Minnesota and was buried at St. Benedict's Cemetery in Avon MN. Information was supplied by Theodore J. Achmann.
