COSTA, Carla V- passed away peacefully in San Jose, CA on October 26, 2003. Carla was born in Seattle, WA on October 4, 1937. For the past 36 years she has made her home in San Jose, where for 23 years she was a teacher's aid in the Alum Rock School District, working with students in the primary grades. Carla was a loving mother and grandmother who provided, through example, a strong moral compass. While providing loving attention to her family, she also found time to give of herself to the service of her church. Carla is survived by her adored children John Costa and his wife Toni, Julie Costa-Bickmore and her husband Jim Bickmore, Laurie and her husband John Wycoff, David Costa and his wife Cammy Jo, and Ronald Costa, her three treasured grandsons Dallas, Travis and Ethan, her devoted brother and sister David Phillips and Neysa Hibbard. Services will be held for Carla on Thursday October 30, 2003 at 11 am at Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints Church at 3110 Cropley Ave , San Jose. Visitation will begin at 10 am at the church. Burial will take place at Los Gatos Memorial Park, San Jose,CA. Entrusted to the care of DARLING-FISCHER Mortuaries, Garden Chapel, 471 E. Santa Clara St., San Jose, CA (408) 998-2226
