VIDALIA, Sept. 8 — Alvin Dykes, 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Dykes died at the home of his parents in the Center Community after a short illness and funeral services were held Tuesday with burial in the church cemetery.
Young Dykes was a student at the Center School and lived with his parents on the Page farm. He is survived by both parents; two sisters, Mrs. Alberta O'Neal of Alston and Mrs. Edna Roberts of Vidalia; and five brothers, including Robert, Carl, Earl, Otto and Herbert, all of the Vidalia section.
