Former Jefferson County resident Rose Mary Aumock died in Federal Way from complications of Alzheimer's disease. She was 85.

She was born in Port Townsend to John and Maria (Angiuli) Trotto.

She married Cecil Aumock.

Mrs. Aumock was employed as a secretary to in the Army commanding officer's office at Fort Worden in Port Townsend. She also worked for the Sprouse-Reitz store and was a Port Townsend Middle School teacher's aide.

She was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Ladies Guild and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Beyond volunteer work, Mrs. Aumock enjoyed her vegetable garden and taking long walks to visit friends.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Traci Aumock, son Richard Aumock and sister Mary Minish, all of Port Townsend.

Also surviving are sister Pauline Nute of Bremerton, brother Frank Trotto of Bellevue, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband and brother Tony Trotto.

Services: Thursday, Oct. 30, 11:30 a.m., the rosary, then at 12:05 p.m., the Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1335 Blaine St, Port Townsend. The Rev. John Topel will preside.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Kosec Funeral Home, Port Townsend, is in charge of arrangements.
