CLARK L ANDERSON, 61, VETERAN BANK EMPLOYEE, DIES IN HOSPITAL
Clark Leonard Anderson, 61, of 932 Florence Ave, who was employed as representative for the First Galesburg National Bank & Trust Company, died Tuesday at 6 PM in Cottage Hospital. Mr. Anderson had been connected with the bank since 1912.
Mr. Anderson was born at Knoxville September 12, 1892, and attended Galesburg High School and Brown's Business College. He had resided most of his life in Galesburg and at the Florence Avenue address for 22 years. His marriage to Hildure J Lofgren took place in Galesburg July 24, 1920. He was a member of Fist Lutheran Church, of which he was a former trustee, and Alpha Lodge No 155, AF and AM. His hobbies were golf, fishing and bowling. He served for two years in military service in France with the rank of Sergeant.
Surviving are the wife; two sons, Robert C of Houston, TX, amd Dean E of LaJolla, CA; a brother, Harry A Anderson, who is vice president of the First Galesburg National Bank and Trust Company; two sisters, Emma Anderson and Ella Anderson, both of Galesburg, and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3 PM in First Lutheran Church, with the Rev ML Raymond officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kimber and West Chapel Thursday evening.

Funeral services for Clark L Anderson, 61, of 932 Florence Ave, representative of the First Galesburg National Bank & Trust Company, who died Tuesday, were conducted today in First Lutheran Church.
The Rev ML Raymond officiated, with Clifford Anderson as the singer and Mrs. CE VanNorman as organist. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Raymond Streedain, Mayor Leo W Morrison, Walter Nelson, Paul Peters, Leif Ericsson and Adolph Erickson.
