Coldwater, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at her home.

A funeral will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Dutcher Funeral with Pastor Robbie Davis officiating. Interment to follow at Lockwood Cemetery in Ovid Township. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Dutcher Funeral Home.

Lucy was born on October 25, 1929 in Hillsdale, Michigan to Kenneth and Theo (Jones) Jenkins and attended a country school in Hillsdale County. She was married to Nelson D'Water for 17 years before they divorced. She later married Woodrow "Woody" Cole and they were together for 10 years before he passed away in 1981. Lucy had lived in Albion for several years before moving to Coldwater in 1967. She attended the First Baptist Church in Coldwater and enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, shopping and selling at the flea markets, traveling, fishing, camping, family picnics, going to the casino and having coffee with friends at Dutch Uncle.

Mrs. Cole is survived by her sons Nelson (Gloria) D'Water, Jr. of Marshall, Larry (Teri) D'Water of Coldwater, Terry (Vicki) D'Water of Coldwater, Jimmy D'Water of Coldwater, Tim (Susie) D'Water of Litchfield, her daughters Dorothy Janusz of Coldwater and Kathy (Tom) Jackson of Osseo, her brothers John Jenkins of KY, Tom Jenkins of Concord, her sisters Betty Mulkey of Albion and Dosia Rowe of Napoleon, OH, her step-brother Dale Covey of Coldwater, 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Woody, Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Diana D'water and Eva D'Water, her first husband Nelson D'Water and her step-mother Lillian Jenkins.Grandson Robert (Bobby)Janusz.

My mom was the most amazing mother always there for her family she asked me recently what i do without her i couldn't answer her it made me upset to think a life without her. we will be lost without you mom love you. this has been edit to put more information in.

This angel is a angel to us she is our mother she has always been kind and she loved people and people loved her. she had many friends ,she work hard and took care of seven children she retired and still worked at hospice.You are a amazing women mom and your children miss you I know I do.We love you mom
