OKEECHOBEE - Judy Badgley, 65, of Okeechobee passed away Oct. 17, 2011, at the Hamrick Home in Okeechobee. She was born Dec. 26, 1945, in Florence, Ala., to Jones and Johnnie Robertson. She came to Okeechobee from Florence in 1965. She was a member of the Church of God and the Eagles Club. Mrs. Badgley was preceded in death by her father, Jones Robertson; sister, Polly Holder; brothers, Louie Robertson and Billy Robertson. She is survived by her mother, Johnnie Robertson of Wrights, Ala.; four sisters, Georgia Woods (Gene) of Okeechobee, Patsy Jones (Bobby) of Florence, Ala., Mary Haddock of Florence, Ala., and Doris Sneed (David) of Symrna, Tenn.; two brothers, Donnie Robertson (Debi) of Okeechobee, and Phillip Robertson (Mel) of Wrights, Ala.; and long time companion, Jim Hancock of Okeechobee. Graveside services will be in Florence, Ala. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, PO Box 1548, Okeechobee, FL 34973.
