Mildred Lundy Nicholson, a homemaker, of Greenwood Village, CO died Wednesday, July 19, 2000. she was 79 years old.
She was born August 8, 1920 in Ness City, the daughter of P. W. and Beulah Dickerson Lundy. She graduated from Ness City High School, attended Kansas University and graduated from Wichita State University.
She married Malcolm B. Nicholson, of Newton, December 2, 1942 in Wichita. Mildred belonged to the University Park United Methodist Church, Denver, CO. She was a member of Chi Omega Denver Alumnae, the PEO and the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Mal; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Dale "Buzz" Sweat, Jr. and granddaughters, Katie and Kristen, Golden, CO; a son and daughter-in-law Scott and Denise Nicholson and grandsons, Bryan and Jeff, Littleton, CO and cousins, Ruth Filbert, Hutchinson and Karen Schmalzried, Dighton and their families.
The memorial service was held Tuesday, July 25, at University Park United Methodist Church Columbarium.
