Louise Bradshaw Hager, 86, of Stanley Total Living Center, formerly of Alexis, died December 28, 2010 at the Stanley Total Living Center.

She was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 26, 1924, daughter of the late Charlie Robert and Minnie Serena Wentz Bradshaw.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred C. Hager; sisters Nettie Sadler, Annie Thompson, and Ganell Abernathy, and brothers Ivery, Roy, and James (Penn) Bradshaw. She was a member of Alexis Baptist Church since childhood where she served many years as the church organist and
pianist, and was a retired bookkeeper from Rhodes and Beal Oil Company in Lincolnton.

Survivors include three sons Wayne Hager and wife Vanda of Alexis, Doug Hager and wife Joann (Sissy) of Alexis, Chuck Hager of Belmont; grandson Tony Hager and wife Sharon of Stanley, granddaughter Kelly Ann Robinson and husband Phillip of Fairview, great-grandchildren Noah and Caleb Hager of Stanley and Kelsey, Teddy, and Zayne Robinson of Fairview, a brother Richard Bradshaw of Alexis, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service conducted by the Reverend Sandy Marks and Chaplain Ivan Davis will be held at Alexis Baptist Church.

Interment: Alexis Baptist church cemetery.


The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of Stanley Total Living Center for the care given to our Mom over the past
four years and for the many personal extensions of love given to her over her final days.
