Henry C. Bagg, who came here from Los Angeles, with his wife six years ago, died; Monday morning at 4 o'clock after several months's confinement with consumption. Deceased after coming to Tucson interested himself in mining in the Santa Ritas, where he owned several promising claims. His health would not permit of his staying on the claims continuously.
Mr. Bagg was born in Michigan in 1861, coming to the coast some sixteen years ago. He was a quiet genial man and formed many pleasant friendships in Tucson.
The funeral services will take place from the residence at 67 East Alameda street at two o clock today. There after the remains will be escorted to passenger train No. 9 by the local Tent of Maccabees of which deceased was one of the original members. The widow will escort the remains to Los Angeles where the body will be temporarily deposited in a vault at the request of the aged father of deceased. Mr. Bagg was a cousin of Stanley Bagg, a former resident of Tombstone who published paper there.
