Charles Galpin Injured While Saving His Son.
Charles Galpin died yesterday at his late home, 290 Adams street, from injuries received by a falling coal bucket at the dock of the Beach Creek Coke company, last week. Deceased in sustaining the injuries which ended his life, prevented his young son from being injured by the falling bucket. The ambulance was sent out to Ash creek at the time to get the injured man. It was seen then that Mr. Galpin has sustained internal injuries. He was taken home, however. Yesterday his condition became worse and he died during the afternoon. He is survived by a widow and six children.
