Brandon Amondson

A celebration of life will be held today, June 23, for Brandon M. Amondson of Eugene, who died June 20 of injuries suffered in a vehicle-pedestrian accident. He was 13.

He was born Jan. 10, 1992, in Eugene, to Patrick Raynolds and Cindy Amondson.

A seventh-grade student at Colin Kelly Middle School in Eugene, he enjoyed bike riding, skateboarding, country music and working on lawn mowers. He worked two summers at The Lawn Mower Shop in Eugene. He attended Emanuel Christian Church.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Cindy and Harold Costa of Eugene; his father, also of Eugene; a grandmother, Angie Amondson of Eugene; a half-brother, David Grams of Eugene; and three sisters, Crystal Amondson, Rose Amondson and Ashlee Rose, all of Eugene.

Today's celebration will be held at 1 p.m. at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene. A private family service is planned for a later date.
