David W. Wendel, M.D., beloved son of Arthur Jr. and Helen (Slaydon) Wendel, devoted brother of Diane (Todd) Habel and Sarah Wendel, also survived by many family and friends. Friday October 31, 2003 at age 40. Graduated from Mariemont High School in 1981, Vanderbilt University in 1985, received his medical degree from the Ohio State University Medical School, finished residency in family practice at Bethesda Hospital in Cincinnati, and completed residency in anesthesiology at the University of Kentucky where he continued to work on staff until accepting a position at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, OH. He was much loved and respected by all that knew him. Services have been held. Memorials may be made to: The Children's Home of Cincinnati, 5050 Madison Rd., Cinti 45227.
Davids remains were cremated and he is interred in Old Armstrong Chapel Cemetery, Indian Hill, Cincinnati, OH 45213.
