Fannie was loved by all; a kind, patient, and a good Christian woman. Although she was my grandmother, she died long before I was born. She was a daughter of Elijah Fisher and his wife, Amasetta "Emma" Mitchell.

She was a member of the Church of Christ at Mount Olive, Indiana all of her adult life. Besides being a farm wife and was a mother to four children, she also was a professional seamstress.
