Vincenzo 'Vincent' John Cinquemani, 67, entered into eternal rest in El Cajon, CA on January 5, 2016.

Vince was born September 2, 1948 to Giovanni Cinquemani and Ninfa Fricano, in Casteldaccia, Sicily, Italy. He completed grade school in Sicily and high school in Illinois.

He was an apprentice to a tailor at a very young age and then apprentice to chefs as a teenager before emigrating to the United States. Vince became a naturalized Citizen of the United States in 1985. He also served in the U.S. Army for 2 years then spent most of his life in the airline industry, first working for Delta Air Lines for 14 years, then Southwest Airlines at Lindbergh Field for 26 years. After his retirement, Vince retired to run 'Cinquemani Entertainment and Transportation, Inc.' His duties included grandchildren, gardening, fishing and winemaking.

Survived by his beloved Suzanne, wife of 38 years, daughter Monique; grandchildren Dustin J Cook, Skyler Cinquemani-Bone and Cameron Cinquemani-Whitcomb. Sisters Rosaria Episcopo (John), Giuseppina Sanfilippo (Leonardo), Piera Rosselli (Vincenzo). Preceded in death by his parents, Giovanni Cinquemani and Ninfa Fricano Cinquemani.

He was very close to many nieces, nephews and their children, who jokingly called him 'the big bad wolf'.

Vince was known for his incredible sense of humor, his compassion for the ill (he regularly visited the sick), sharing the fruits of his gardens and fishing trips. He could be counted on to give you the shirt off of his back or share his incredible knowledge of cooking, gardening, sausage making, vineyard tending and wine making.
