Mrs. Dill died Dec. 26, 1997, in the Central Wyoming Hospice Home.She was born July 10, 1927, in Sterling, Kan. the daughter of Clara and Harold Kimple. When she was 5, the family moved to a farm north of Lyons, Kan., where she was raised. She graduated from high school in Lyons. On March 20, 1948, she married Kenneth E. Dill in Lyons. In January 1950, Mr. and Mrs. Dill moved to Linch, where he went to work for Continental Oil Co. They made their home in Linch and raised their family, then retired in 1985 and moved into Casper. After retiring, they spent six months in Brownsville, Texas, and summers visiting their children and grandchildren. They attended the Linch Community Church and Edgerton Open Bible Church, where she taught Sunday School for 30 years and was active in church ministries. Mrs. Dill attended Casper Open Bible Church. She was a homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed sewing and crafting for her children and grandchildren. She loved to camp. Survivors include her husband of Casper; two daughters, Judy Officer of Littleton, Colo., and Donna Locke of Upton; one son, Terry Dill of Thermopolis; two brothers, Don and Dean Kimple, and a sister, Shirley Coble, all of Wichita, Kan; and five grandchildren. Memorials to the Central Wyoming Hospice Home or American Cancer Society, in care of the Bustard Funeral Home, would be appreciated by the family.
