Lucille Blume, 96, Greencastle, died Saturday morning at Plainfield Health Care Center, Plainfield.
She was a daughter of L. U. and Lillie May (Bridgeman) Alvord.
A graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School, she had attended Purdue University. She was a member of Gobin Memorial United Church, Order of Eastern Star, and Phi Mu sorority at Purdue. She had been a volunteer at Putnam County Senior Center and with RSVP Program.
She married Harold "Pat" Blume on Nov. 29, 1936. He died in 1979.
Surviving are a son, Jerry M. Blume and wife Susan, Tucson, Ariz., a daughter, Jackie A Tucker and husband James, Auburndale, Fla; six grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Oscar Alvord, and a sister, Eunice Lemmon.
