Ichinosuke visited more than 100 countries over his lifetime, eventually settling in New Jersey and becoming a naturalized American citizen. He moved to New Mexico in 2007.
He spoke several languages, was an avid gardener and chef, and enjoyed classical music and opera. Ichinosuke is survived by a cadre of loving and loyal friends who are family.
