Rev. Randy Lamar Adcock, age 46, of Folsom Glade Road, Adairsville, passed away Monday evening, June 22, 2015.

He was born in Cartersville, GA, October 1, 1968, son of the late Walter Max Adcock and Helen Earwood Adcock. Mr. Adcock was a member of Gospel Temple, a part of The Joyful Singers and Ministries Group, and just simply loved spreading the word of God. As a dedicated dad, he was very active and involved in his sons’ lives, from their school activities, sporting events, and guiding them to do right in life. He loved spending time with his family, working on any type of engine, and enjoyed playing the guitar. He was preceded in death by his loving parents; brothers, Walter Adcock and Claude Adcock; sister, Cathy Epps.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-seven years, Marilyn Duncan Adcock of Adairsville; sons, Joseph Lamar Adcock and Vernon Max Adcock; brothers, Earl (Betty) Adcock of Adairsville, Ricky (Ann) Adcock of Calhoun; sisters, Wanda (Gene) Cape of Adairsville, Sherrie (Phillip) Pruitt of Cartersville, Deborah (Donald) Akins of Adairsville; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 3:00 PM from Glade Baptist Church, Adairsville, with Ministers Tony St. Cyr, Walkie Walraven, and Barry Bennett officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 2:00 PM until the hour of the funeral. Interment will follow in Hayes Cemetery in the Folsom Community, Adairsville. Pallbearers include his nephews, Chuck Cape, Shane Epps, Jamie Epps, Josh Pullium, Justin Adcock, and Brandon Adcock. Honorary pallbearers include Jimmy woods, Brian Adcock, Barry Adcock, Doyle Adcock and Darrell Adcock.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
