Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister, Sonja Robertson Baxter Lambert, age 50, died Jan. 26, 1992, in Salt Lake City.
Born July 14, 1941, in Moroni, Utah, a daughter of Arden Dean and Ruth Larson Robertson. Married John Robb Baxter, Jr. in 1959; later divorced. Married Ben Lambert, August 12, 1988, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Employed at First Security Bank of Utah for a period of 25 years beginning in the mail room and advancing to the position of Assistant Vice President and Operations Officer over commercial bank operations. Graduated with honors while taking banking classes at the University of Utah. Sonja's family and grandchildren were the love of her life.
Survived by husband, Ben; daughters, Jennifer VanDerWaal and Mary Ann Baxter, both West Valley City; three grandchildren, Jared and Robb VanDerWaal; Alex Benjamin Crowder; parents, Moroni; two brothers and two sisters, Udean R. Faux, Murray; Lynn and Scott Robertson, Moroni; Dana Keisel, Manti.
Preceded in death by son, Robb John Baxter.
Funeral services Thursday, 12 noon, Harman Ward, 4634 West Harman Drive. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Thursday, at the church, one hour prior to services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
