Stacey LeRaye Azoyan, 39, of Buckeye died of melanoma cancer on Sept. 29, 2008, at her home. She was born March 30, 1969, in Denver, Colo., and moved to Arizona when she was 3 yrs old.

Mrs. Azoyan attended Liberty School and Buckeye Union High School and graduated from Peoria High School. Stacey was an employee for the Motor Vehicle Department in Buckeye and Avondale. Previously she was a social worker for Arizona Long Term Care program. She was active with her daughters in the FFA and 4H swine programs and the Arizona Saddle Club.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie; two daughters, Katie and Heather; parents, Douglas Evans of Glendale and Janet Evans of Buckeye; her sister, Debbie Grulke of Buckeye; and grandmother, Viola M. Gelvin of Bishop, Calif.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Westside Bible Church , 7614 N. 43rd Ave., Glendale.

The Rev. Larry Hofmann will officiate.
