John F. Adams John F. "Jack" Adams, 90, of Elizabeth Twp, formerly of Jefferson Hills, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2006 in UPMC Greenville. A retired steel worker from the Irvin Works, U.S. Steel Corp, he was a member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Elizabeth Twp, U.S. Army veteran of WWII and member of St. Michael's Council, Knights of Columbus. Born in Clairton, September 19, 1916, he was a son of the late John S. and Elizabeth Cruden Adams. He is survived by his wife, Helen Mae (Mitro) Adams; sons, Darryl (Sally) Adams of Baldwin and Richard (Cara) Adams of Conneaut Lake, PA; daughter, Nancy (Ernest) Brodeur of Cocoa, FL; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren; sister, Helen Gemerchak of Dallas, TX; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be recieved Friday from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton. A blessing will be offered at the Funeral Home on Saturday at 11:30AM by the Rev. Rudolph Smoley. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 777 Penn Center Blvd, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.
