Warren "Butch" Adams 62 of Amarillo died Sunday December 4, 2011.

The family will hold private memorial services at a later date.

Warren "Butch" was born August 2, 1949 in Clarendon to Virgil "Red" and Frankie Lou Adams. He enlisted in the Army on August 30, 1967. He served in the Vietnam War as a demolitions specialist. He was honorably discharged on Sept. 30, 1971 following a devastating injury sustained at war. Upon his return he married Mary Ann Hensley on October 30, 1975 in Odessa. Butch was an avid BCA Pool player and enjoyed leatherworking.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; a brother Danny Adams; and three grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Mary Adams; four sons: James Tidwell, Billy Paul Tidwell and wife Lori, Warren Virgil Adams Jr. and fiance Michelle Schubert and Bryan Adams and wife Jackie; a daughter Sharon Elaine Daugherty; three brothers: David Adams and wife Lynn, Jackie Adams and Tommy Adams and wife Nita; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-
grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Hospice Care of the Southwest 6600 Killgore Drive Suite 110 Amarillo, Texas 79106.
