Mary Lou Andersen, daughter of F. James and Elizabeth Skane Keane, wife of Harold T. Andersen. She had four daughters, Mary Beth Motl, Kathleen Andersen, Eileen Dirgo, and Carolyn Simses. Two sons, James and Harold Andersen. She had two sisters, Catherine Jermain and Betty Collins and a brother Thomas Keane. Fourteen grandchildren and one great grand-daughter.

Mary Lou Andersen, age 73, of Milford, died on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Mary Lou was the beloved wife of Harold T. Andersen with whom she celebrated a loving marriage of 50 years on January 1, 2005. Daughter of the late F. James and Elizabeth Skane Keane, she was born in Bridgeport on November 2, 1931. In addition to her husband, she leaves four daughters, Mary Beth Motl and her husband, Jim, of Monroe, Kathleen Andersen and her companion, Joanne Diven, of Fairfield, Eileen Dirgo and her husband, Bill Gamble, of Milford, Carolyn Simses and her husband, Kevin, of Amherst, N.Y.; two sons, James N. Andersen and his wife, Patty, of Excelsior, Minn., Harold T. Andersen, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Woodbridge; two sisters, Catherine Keane Jermain of Milford, Betty Keane Collins of Bridgeport; and her brother, Thomas M. Keane of Derby. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Jennifer and Anthony Idone, Jon and Emily Motl, Elizabeth, James Jr., Patrick, and Christine Andersen, Jocelyn Dirgo, William Gamble, Caitlin, Colleen, and Craig Simses, Lucy and Harris Andersen; her great-granddaughter, Laila Idone; and her 14 cherished nieces and nephews and their children. She was predeceased by her sister, Peggy Keane DeLasho. Friends from childhood, college, life, and all those important to her, will cherish the memory of this witty, accepting, and inclusive woman, and will never forget her. Each of us mourners was touched in a special way by this special lady. We are sustained in our sorrow by the knowledge that her faith sustained her as she anticipated with joy entering into eternal life with God. Funeral Services from the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford, on Friday, April 15, 2005 at 8:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Milford. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Milford.
