Lexington Intelligencer, January 28, 1905 [Lexington, Mo.] Mrs. L.A. Golladay returned from Oak Grove Wednesday. She was called there on account of the sickness and death of her mother, Mrs. John Q. Adams. Three weeks ago Mrs. Adams received injuries from a fall, resulting in her death on Monday last. She was 86 years old, a member of the Baptist church, was born in Virginia, moved to Kentucky and from there to Lafayette county. She was a resident of this county for a long number of years. Her husband died about twelve years ago. She was a devoted Christian and mother. She leaves six children and a large circle of friends in the county to mourn her loss.
