Blaine L. Abbott 1945 ~ 2007 Blaine L. Abbott, age 62, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007 in Bountiful, Utah. Born March 5, 1945 in Salt Lake City to Kenneth and Fern Wretberg Abbott. Blaine graduated from West High. He worked with his dad at Parker-Abbott Transfer for several years. He retired from the Utah Air National Guard where he served and worked in the sheet metal shop for many years. Blaine has many dear friends from his association through the Air National Guard. Blaine will be remembered by his family and friends for his generosity which went unnoticed by many people. Beyond the rough exterior he was a very caring person to those who knew him well. He is survived by his brother, Darrell (Kathleen) Abbott; and a sister, Karen (Kerry) Hamblin; a very close friend Elizabeth Ann Kennedy (Annie); nieces and nephews: Janice, Nancy, Nicole, Jim, Corey, and Ryan. Funeral services will be held Monday, 12 Noon at Larkin Mortuary 260 East South Temple where friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
