Curtis Hoover Bailey, 73, died Tuesday, February 4, 2003. Mr. Bailey was a native of Bluefield, West Virginia and a resident of Jacksonville, Florida since 1959 He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired painter with the Jacksonville Shipyards with 28 years service. He was a member of the Boilersmakers Union. Predeceased by his daughter the late Cherie Lynn Bailey. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Drucilla S. Bailey; 1 son, Curtis Thomas Bailey; 3 sisters, Virginia Irwin, Eunice Dillon and Carolyn Shursburg; 1 grandchild, Curtis William Bailey. Arrangements By George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home.
