Walter was the son of Alexander Bomstad and Rose Robertson. He was the brother to 2 brothers and 1 sister. He married Iris J. Dale on November 15, 1947. They had their first daughter Marlene, two years later. That followed with Wanda, Darold (whom is deceased) and last but not least, David. They lived in numerous cities. Walter died following a anurusium. He also had cancer. He was cremated and ashes were given to his oldest daughter Marlene, but sadly, his ashes were tossed in the dump when her storage unit was cleaned out..(not by Marlene, but someone who was not very nice)
