Dorothy Louise Albracht was born Dec. 6, 1926, in Montgomery, Ala., to Alex and Barbara Koerner Perry, their only child.
She met Francis Anthony Albracht at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Ala., and they were married Sept. 27, 1942. As a military family, they traveled extensively around the world. Upon her husband's retirement from the military, she became the office manager at Carswell Air Force Base Commissary, where she worked from 1964 until her retirement in the mid-1980s.
She was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Holy Family Catholic Church.
She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Francis A. Albracht; and her son and daughter-in-law, George "Tony" and Marion Albracht.
