My grandmother was born in Philadelphia Pa. Her family owned a meat packing company in Philadelphia, and because she married my grandfather, she was disinherited by her family for marrying beneath her statis. She was in the Floradora Girls on the New York stage. She met my grandfather Alfred Morency and they married and moved back to Philadelphia Pa. Im not sure when they moved to New Jersey, but they lived in National Park, NJ and then later she moved to Audabon, NJ. I don't remember her to much as she died when I was 5 years old, I do believe she died a few months after my father.
What I do remember she was a sweet loving grandmother and always showed you her caring and sweet ways. She would always take me into the kitchen and give me the delicious cream puffs that my grandfather made. She was the mother of Alfred, Catherine, Marie, Joseph and Thomas and the grandmother of Buddy, Bobby, Tommy, Jackie, Diane, Billy, Ritchie, Paul, Loretta, Ann, Dolores , Mary, and Paul Jr. Im sorry if I left anyone out. and great and great great grandmother of many. I will always have what fond memories I remember of her and her loving smile. Rest in Peace Grandmom. I want to thank everyone who comes to my grandmothers site and leaves a note or flower, God Bless you.
She was 72 years old when she passed.
