WILKES-BARRE — Erin L. "Fluff" Jacobs, 36, of Wilkes-Barre, died unexpectedly, of natural causes, on Friday, March 6, 2015, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre on March 4, 1979, a daughter of Joseph and Edith Joseph Jacobs. Erin was a 1997 graduate of Meyers High School, received an associate degree in computer science from Luzerne County Community College and was currently employed by Mohegan Sun Casino at Pocono Downs.
Erin's favorite color was orange, she was a huge fan of Notre Dame, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Phillies, 40 Pound Head and the Dave Matthews Band.
She was also the founder of Team Fluff in 2002.
Besides her parents, Joseph and Edith Jacobs, she is also survived by her brother, Joseph Jacobs and his wife, Erika; sisters, Nancy Jacobs and Jim Sabulski , and Susan Jacobs-Tamkus and her husband, Mark. Aunt Ren Ren will be missed by her niece and goddaughter, Sidney; nephews, Joseph, Caleb, Matthew, Liam and Ethan; her best friend, Dan Miller; aunts and uncles; and cousins.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerbey Ave., Kingston, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Nicholas Church, South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the SPCA.
