Mark A. Jonovitch, 44, of Curtis Lane, Kingston, died Saturday in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Anna Malesky Jonovitch and the late Anthony J. Jonovitch. He was a graduate of the West Side Area Vocational-Technical School and resided in Kingston most of his life. He was employed by the Liberty Throwing Co. and was a member of St. Mary's Annunciation Church, both in Kingston.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Marie and Margaret Brinzo.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are sons, Andrew and Mark, both of Edwardsville, sisters, Antoinette Kravitz and Nancy Cohen, both of Dallas; Sharon Johns, Forty Fort; brothers, Thomas, Melbourne, Fla.; Joseph, Edwardsville; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerbey Ave., Kingston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Annunciation Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Pringle. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Annunciation Church.
