Anne (nee Young) Bradler was my Great, Great Grandmother. She was from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of Angus and Catherine (nee McMullin) Young. She immigrated to America in 1865. Her Father owned three schooner boats. She was very knowledgable about all the lines on the boats. She was supposed to be related to Brigham Young.

Her Grandaughter, Francis Bradler, met Anne (and Gus, Sr.) when Francis was about five years old. Francis stated Anne wore a long black dress. She had jet black hair in a tight bun. Anne was very dark complexion. Francis thought she looked like an American Indian.

In 1882 she married Gustav Edward Bradler. They had five children, three were living in 1900: Charlie, Stella and Gustav Francis. Wensel W. passed away in 1888.

Anne's cause I'd death: Cardio and renal disease.

Annie and Wensel are buried in the same plot.
