Anna Belle was the daughter of Lemuel Eastes and Rebecca Cunningham. She married David Vinson Bartlett on 2 October 1888 and was found dead on either the 8th or the 14th of October 1888. (2 records found) It was a possible suicide. She was found hanging in the barn. It may have been an accident.

In the 1880 Census she is listed as being 6 making her birth at about 1874. She isn't born yet in 1870.

I pointed this out because her death record says she is 20, which would be impossible given her age in 1880. The note on the photo says she died at age 17, again doubtful if she was indeed 6 in 1880. it would make her no more than 14 or 15 at the time of her marriage and death.

The death record says she died in New Corner,Which is now Gaston. The family did live in Muncie and in New Corner/ Gaston.

Her husband married a second time to Myrtle Jane Hardy and he had 7 children from this marriage.
