She was born Dec. 2, 1904, at Pleasant Plane, IL, the daughter of Albert L. and Josephene SCHRACK. She was united in marriage to John Richard BALD Sept. 1932, at Aledo, IL. She was a retired secretary for the U.S. Army Arsenal in Rock Island, IL. She was a former resident of Rock Island, IL. having made her home in bull Shoals since 1963. She was a member of the St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church. She is survived by one son, Richard BALD and his wife, Carolyn of Andalusia, IL; one sister, Theresa TYNAN of Des Moines, IA; three grandchildren, John R. BALD of Andalusia, IL, Bridget L. TITUS of Iowa City, IA, Theresa M. SALTZBERG of Boston, MA; three great grandchildren, Jamie, Katy and Joe TITUS of Iowa City, IA; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and five sisters. Visitation was held Sat., may 19, from 12 to 2 p.m. with Vigil Service at 1 p.m. at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home in Bull Shoals. Funeral Mass was held Tue., May 22, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in East Moline, IL, with Reverend Richard L. BARCLIFT officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Arrangements were by Kirby-Boaz funeral Directors of Bull Shoals.
