He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was an Ex-POW. He was a bookkeeper and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Eddie Copenhaver III.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Copenhaver Aldridge; daughters, Alisa Alford, Wendy Copenhaver Wiley, Kimberly Copenhaver Ramirez, Betsy Rhames and Lynne Rivera; son, Cody Copenhaver; sister, Joyce Adams; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with the Msgr. James Brunner officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery with full military honors under the auspices of Victoria County Veterans Council, AL, CWV, VFW, DAV, MCL, MOWW, Ex-POW, MOPH, VVA and the KWV.
