Notes: Edward C. Beck. When he retired from his general foreman's job at American Steel & Wire Co., where he worked 48 years, Edward Christian Beck and his wife moved to Baytown, Tex. That was five years ago. Mr. Beck, 75, died Tuesday in that city, and services were held there Thursday. His wife, the former Effie Reimer, survives. Also, surviving are three sons, Robert of Baytown, Alvin of Cleveland, and Edward of Maple Heights, a brother, John of Whittier, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Alma Doerner of Cleveland, and five grandchildren.
