Christine was the daughter of Patrick "Pat" Hustis and Marie. Pat and Marie divorced when Christine was a young child and her mother was remarried. Though I never met her in person, we had talked many times on the phone. In 1991 Christine found me while seeking out her father Pat. I had registered with quite a few geology places and she ran across my name and number. After calling my mother Rosemary Hustis, I called my uncle Pat and gave him the news that his long lost daughter was looking for him. My mother and my other uncle Wayne Hustis met with her and within a few days she was on a flight to Montana to meet her father whom she had no recollection of. The reunion was sadly short lived as we found out later Christine had a substance abuse problem and passed away as a result. She was a very bright, intelligent person with a big heart and sense of humor. I really regret not actually meeting her and wish we could have spent more time talking.
