She was born in Toombs County and lived there most of her life before moving to Collins about a year ago. She was a retired cashier and a member of The Lighthouse Church of Collins. She was a member for several years at Port Wentworth Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was the widow of James Calvin Cobb.
SURVIVORS: a son and daughter-in-law, Julius and Delores Ridgdill of Summertown, S.C.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna Torres of San Antonio, and Pam and Greg Smith of Collins; a brother, Dean Carroll of Reidsville; a sister, Vera Morris of Lyons; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
