Ronald Jerry Beck, 44, clerk at Comfort Suites in Nashville, died Sunday, April 27, 2003 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Patrick Connor officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Oakes & Nichols concluding with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at

The Maury County native was a 1976 graduate of Columbia Central High School. He earned a B. S. degree in computer programming from Volunteer State Community College and was pursing a Masters Degree at Middle Tennessee State University.

He was a commnicant of St. Catherine Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Laura Piazza Beck of Columbia; two sisters, Cynthia (mike) Donovan of Lynnville and Jeanie Johnson of Columbia; two brothers, Jeffrey (Lisa) Beck of Charlotte and Bryan Beck of Columbus, Mississippi; three nieces and four nephews.

Pallbearers are Mike Skillern, Brad Fisher, Adam Johnson, Mark Runions, Tony Bastone, Jeff Simpson, Dwight Ledford, Carrie Stevenson.
