Michael Corbett Goney, age 8, passed away July 3, 1982 at Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital in Nashville as a result of an auto accident.
Survivors include his Father and Mother, Corbett and Opal Goney of Sparta, TN; Four brothers, Russell Goney, Dan Goney, Tommy Goney,
Robert Goney, all of Sparta, Tn; three sisters, Sheila Mooney, of Medina, Ohio, Nima Goney, of Sparta, Tn. and Debbie Nash of Sparta, Tn.
Services were held July 6, at 3p.m. at the Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church at 3 p.m. with Bro. Buss Beaty, Bro. Arthur Goney, Bro. Omer Allred, Bro. Carson Whitaker officiating. Interment in the Richards Cemetery.
