Glen Lee Atwood, 72, Kansas City, Kan., passed away August 23, 2014. Glen is survived by two daughters, Alison Atwood and Amy (Charley) Wherry; brother, Bill (Louise) Atwood; sisters, Marilyn (Gary) Keeler and Barb (Roger) Beals; his grandson, Blake Wherry, former wife Judi Atwood-Wells, and extended family and friends, including Cari Lynn Cadwell-Faso and Celia Crump. Glen was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Shaumeyer, father, Raymond Atwood, step-father, Tommy Ridenour, and brother, Donald Atwood. Glen had an illustrious career that he was very proud of, working as a "big time executive" for Kendall Oil, Pizza Hut, Sharper Image, and other well-known companies in the Kansas City and San Francisco areas. Following his retirement in 2007, Glen moved to Albuquerque and loved his "deluxe apartment in the sky." He had an amazing sense of humor, and was a one-of-a-kind Daddy, brother, friend, Uncle, and person. Services pending for 2015 in Kansas City.
