She was born on December 15, 1923 in Seneca County, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Mary Bailey. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles G. Abraham, daughter, Karen (Rich) Wanders; son, Bruce (Cheryl) Abraham and four grandsons, Jonathan, Daniel, James and Thomas.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose activities included volunteering with several school and church organizations, Girl Scouts, Hattie Larlham Foundation, Robinson Memorial Hospital, the World Series of Golf at Firestone Country Club, among others.
An avid golfer, Mary helped organize and direct golf leagues in the Lorain area as well as Garrettsville. Her passion for these duties was only surpassed by the joy of playing golf with her family.
Through the support of her husband's work in the family automobile business, Mary and Charles enjoyed travels together throughout the world, providing wonderful memories and lasting friendships. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Hattie Larlham Foundation, or the American Red Cross, Portage County Chapter.
. Family and friends gathered at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 10692 Freedom St., Garrettsville, Oh. 44231 on Friday at 11 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial with V. Rev. Richard J. Pentello officiating. Interment followed at Park Cemetery, Garrettsville.
