MRS. JOHN (MARY ZIRKLE) BOEHLE

APRIL 29, 1915

Mrs. John Boehle died at her home in Chatsworth some time during Sunday (Apr. 25) night. Mrs. Boehle was an extremely fleshy woman and had not been in good health for the past two years but was apparently as well Sunday evening as usual. About three o'clock Monday morning her daughter got up and went to her mother and found that she was dead. As what time she died no one knows.

Mary Zirkle was born on April 9, 1868, in Rockingham county, Virginia, and here she resided until 1885, when her parents moved to Fisher, Ill. In 1888 she was united in marriage to Mr. John Boehle and later the family moved to Chatsworth. She was the mother of seven children--William, Elinora, John, Henry Albert, Charles and Elizabeth, the latter having died in infancy.

She is survived by the husband, six children, four sisters, Mrs. T.M. Williams, of Piper city; Mrs. John Thompson, of Cullom; Mrs. Fred LaCrosse, of Kankakee and Mrs. John Ark, of Dewey, Ill., and two brothers, John and George Zirkle, of Piper City.

the funeral was held from the house on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Geo. Woodley, pastor of the Baptist church officiating, and the remains were laid to rest in the Chatsworth cemetery.

Note: Son, Albert Boehle is interred at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas; son, William Boehle is interred at Kankakee Memorial Gardens and Chapel Mausoleum, Kankakee, Illinois.
