Lillian Jeannie Adkison, 43, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at Scripps Hospital in Encinitas of breast cancer. Born July 9, 1961, in Monroe, Mich., she lived in Carlsbad for 16 years. She was a preschool teacher for 22 years. She did after school care for 15 years. She took college course in early childhood development. Mrs. Adkison is survived by her husband of 16 years, Aaron Adkison of Carlsbad; parents Margie and John Simonelli of Oceanside; sons Joshua Michael Suarez and Steven William Adkison; daughter Marie Rachelle Adkison; and sister Victora Simonelli. A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Buccaneer Beach in Oceanside, where her cremains will be cast out to sea. (North County Times, Thursday, December 23, 2004, Page B-7)
