Her funeral, along with that of her son Thomas, and her unborn child, was held Thursday, February 11 at Florence Avenue Baptist Church with burial in the Virgilina Cemetery. The Revs. Jack Stewart and Robert Garrett conducted the service.
Mrs. Seate was born in Halifax County on January 30, 1970 and was the daughter of Ginger and Wayne Farmer and Wallace Gosney. She was married to Richard Thomas (Dickey) Seate III.
She is survived by her husband, parents Ginger and Wayne Farmer of South Boston and Wallace and Faye Gosney of Alton,
two sisters Cindy Lea Gosney, and Amy Nicole Farmer both of South Boston, one brother David Wayne Farmer of South Boston. Maternal grandmother Hazel Clienhans, paternal grandmother Catherine Gosney, maternal great grandmother Dossie Chapman all of South Boston. She was prededed in death by her maternal grandfather Willard Eugene Clienhans,
and paternal grandfather Irvin Gosney.
