Edith moved to Teton County when she was 2 years of age. She had 10 siblings. She was the 7th child. She was raised on a farm. She played the organ for church at 12 years of age. She continued to play the piano and organ until a week before her death. She was in a nursing home in Ashton, and would play for the other residents. She played by ear, and could play any song that you could name or hum, and could play it in any key you wanted. She was a very humble lady. She had six children in eight years, and it weakened her physically. She spent the rest of her life being quite sickly. She became a "health nut." Her children were Rex L born 1934, Charlotte RaNae born 1936, Val Ray born 1937, Vaun Clay born 1939, Rose Ann born 1940, and Garl Royce born 1942.
