Emmett H Wells, 87, last of the grandsons of William Wells, founder of
Wellsville, Ohio, died last night at Ingleside Nursing Home on Euclid
Avenue.
Mr Wells was in the dry goods business in Wellsville for many years with a
brother, the late Alexander R Jr, in a store they purchased from their
father.
He was a 32nd degree Mason. At 74 he made a trip around the world.
Survivors include 3 nephews, Hugh, Lewis and Ralph Wells, all of Cleveland,
and a niece, Dr Beulah Wells, with whom he had lived the last 3 years.
